Pomona Winery, nestled deep in the Shawnee Forest, specializes in award-winning fruit wines made from southern Illinois apples, peaches, blueberries and strawberries. Chilled wine is available by the glass or bottle. Hours: The winery tasting room, garden picnic areas and spectacular covered decks are open April through December: Mon-Sat, 10 am-5 pm; Sun, 12 noon -5 pm; January through March: weekends only.

I-57 to Hwy 13 (exit 54) west 22 miles to Murphysboro, south 4 miles on Hwy 127 and follow the signs. I-57 to Hwy 146 (exit 30) west 9 miles through Anna-Jonesboro to Hwy 127, north 12 miles and follow the signs.
