Green Creek Winery Coming down Gilbert Road from Landrum Road in the township of Green Creek, you'll see a fresh face. Green Creek Winery opened in 2005 and promises to become a new destination for wine lovers. We believe wine is an essential part of gracious living and Green Creek wine will enhance the experience of every meal and social gathering. Whether you live here or are visiting the wonderful Green Creek community in Western North Carolina, we invite you to enjoy our new tasting room/gift shop and winery. Sip wine on our patio with vineyard and distant mountain vistas. Green Creek Winery hosts weddings, wedding receptions, private parties, luncheons, dinners and business events. Any celebration that requires special treatment. Or just drop by with a picnic lunch and enjoy our lawn area. Share with us a little Polk County "history in the making". Open Thursday through Sunday 1-5 PM. We are tour bus friendly but please call first.

Directions
From I-26: From I-26 take exit 1 at Landrum S.C. Travel north-east from the exit on Landrum Road (Hwy 14) for 5 miles. Turn left on Gilbert Rd. Green Creek Winery is 4/10 of a mile on the left at 413 Gilbert Rd. From US 74: From US 74 take exit 167. Travel south from the exit on Hwy 9 for 3 miles. Turn right on Landrum Rd. (Hwy 14) and drive 1 mile. Turn right on Gilbert Rd. Green Creek Winery is 4/10 of a mile on the left at 413 Gilbert Rd

Very easy to find on the NC/SC border along Interstate I-26, but you might want to save time on your next trip by just going to any grocery store in Asheville or Spartanburg and pick up good wines from California, Argentina, Spain, Australia, etc. The wines at Green Creek Winery surely do taste "green" and the green you will need to pay for their wines is exorbitant.
