Fresno State Winery California State University, Fresno has the first licensed, bonded, commercial winery on a university campus in the United States. Fresno State students have had the opportunity to study the art and sciences of grape-growing and wine-making for more than forty years with some of the most well-respected professors in viticulture and enology.

  California Red Table Wine
Produced from classic red grape varieties, our Red Table Wine is the perfect complement to outdoor meals. Served at room temperature or slightly chilled, this medium-bodied red wine features bright cherry and berry flavors integrated with a hint of oak and pairs nicely with red meat, pork, poultry or fish.
  California Rose
An abundance of fresh fruit aromas mingle with cherry and straeberry flavors. Grapes for our 2004 Rose were grown in various vineyards within the San Joaquin Valley. This "off-dry" wine is best served chilled, as an aperitif, with salads, and with light meals.
  California Vin D’une Nuit
This “Wine of One Night” was made in the traditional southern Rhone style. One day after crush, this blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre was pressed and then fermented in a stainless steel tank to preserve the fresh fruit character of these Rhone varietals. Served slightly chilled, this limited edition wine is perfect with hors d’oeuvres.
  Fresno County Carignane Nouveau Rouge - Fresno State Vineyards
Made using the classic French style of carbonic maceration, Vin Nouveau is traditionally released on the third Thursday of November. Our 2004 Nouveau Rouge features Carignane grapes from the Fresno State Vineyard. This festive wine exhibits bright, fully ripened cherry and raspberry aromas and flavors. Served chilled, this limited edition wine pairs perfectly with holiday hors d’ oeuvres.
  Fresno County Grenache - George Saroyan Vineyards
Produced from grapes grown in the George Saroyan Vineyards near Sanger, California, this wine exhibits a deep garnet hue with a wave of abundant sweet herb and black currant flavors. Our 2003 Grenache celebrates the memory of George Saroyan, a first cousin to the author William Saroyan. This wine is a perfect compliment to any meal.
  Fresno County Muscat Canelli Nouveau Blanc
Made in the classic French style of carbonic maceration, Vin Nouveau is traditionally released on the third Thursday of November. Produced from Muscat grapes, our 2004 Nouveau Blanc is a profusion of fresh flower aromas coupled with a crisp finish. Served chilled, this limited release is perfect for holiday hors d’ oeuvres.

Orange Muscat grapes from John Diener Vineyard in Five Points, CA and Muscat Canelli donated by St. George Spirits in Alameda, CA. unite to make this delicious wine with honey, hazelnut and apricot flavors that pairs well with light desserts.
  Fresno County White Grenache George Sarayon Vineyards

  Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon Peterson Family Vineyards

  President's Reserve San Joaquin County Primitivo Duarte Linden Hills Vineyard

  San Joaquin County Barbera - Duarte Linden Hills Vineyards
Our 2003 Barbera, produced from grapes grown by the Duarte family, features a bright ruby hue on the rim. Plums and cherries dominate the aroma and flavor of this wine. A round mouthfeel arising from moderate phenolic extraction is supported by firm acidity and a periphery of minerality. A perfect complement to any meal, our Barbera pairs nicely with red and white meat entrees.

  San Joaquin County Petite Sirah Duarte Linden Hills Vineyards
Produced from grapes grown by the Duarte family near Linden, California, our 2002 Petite Sirah features tiers of rich, spicy berry flavors and a lingering finish that resonates of black fruit and vanilla flavors. This is a perfect match for red meat or game. For best presentation, open one to two hours prior to serving.
  San Joaquin County Sangiovese Duarte Linden Hills Vineyard
Our 2003 Sangiovese, like its Italian counterparts, is a medium-bodied red table wine. Abundant tart cherry and cranberry flavors originating from fully-ripened fruit are balanced by soft vanilla and smoky notes from oak aging. A perfect complement to any meal, ours pairs nicely with red and white meat entrees. Limited availablity: 150 cases

A delightful after dinner wine showing the best flavors of a Muscat blend. Spicy and aggressive, it goes very well with ice cream or fruit.
