Welcome to Paul J Wines! My daughter Camille and I have been working on this project for years and we couldn’t be more proud. Although we are Amador’s newest tasting room, I have 40 years of winemaking experience in Amador County working with the great grapes that grow here. We will offer many small batch, handcrafted wines from a dry Rosé, elegant whites and a great selection of dark rich reds from an Old Vine Zinfandel to a Tannat. We look forward to having you visit our beautiful tasting room and taste our delicious wines – Paul Sobon

Black Cat Vineyard Family Cuveé
A blend of 50% Syrah and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon with delightful aromas of ripe cherry, plum, blackberry, vanilla. Concentrated flavors of black fruit, cocoa and a hint of black pepper with a silky lingering finish.

Black Cat Vineyard Syrah
Intense black fruit aromas, spicy black pepper mixed with dried rose petals and vanilla bean. Bright fruit characters, concentrated flavors of berry, vanilla and toasty oak with a silky mocha finish.
