Located in Niagara-on-the-lake, Palatine Hills is a boutique winery offering visitors a select range of wines including their specialty ice wines. Owners John and Barbara Neufeld, in collaboration with winemaker David Hojnoski, started producing small batches of ice wine in the late 1990's, and moved into production of other table wines in 2001. They now produce Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, as well as their award-winning Vidal Ice Wine.

Directions
From Toronto: 1. Take the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) Niagara-bound. 2. In St. Catharines, exit at #47 (Ontario Street). 3. Turn left (North), and follow Ontario Street until it becomes Lakeshore Road. 4. Travel on scenic Lakeshore Road for 11 Km.
5. Look for the Palatine Hills sign on the right-hand side (south) at 911 Lakeshore Road. From Niagara-on-the-Lake: 1. Follow scenic Lakeshore Road west from Niagara-on-the-Lake. 2. Look for the Palatine Hills sign on the left-hand side (south) at 911 Lakeshore Road.

Chardonnay (unoaked) (VQA)
Crafted by a cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks (no oak). Fresh fruity characters, pale straw in colour ....light and crisp with hints of apple, pear and citrus. A fresh and fruity wine. Great for sipping anytime. Serve slightly chilled. Compliments light fish, chicken, turkey, lamb and pastas.

Juliette Blanc de Blancs (VQA)
This Sparkling Wine is from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes were hand-harvested. Only the premium "free-flowing" juice was used as our cuvee, and enjoyed 3 years of aging in our cellars after the bottle fermentation was completed. Note the refined structure with elegant citrus blossom and floral notes. The palate is crisp and firm with typical aged Chardonnay characters ... crispy citrus, hints of delicate vanilla and a seamless finish!
