Favero Vineyards & Winery

Favero Vineyards & Winery Fred and Ginger, winemaker and owners of Favero Vineyards and Winery, take pride in the production of their fine quality wines. From clearing the rugged and rocky hillside, to hand planting vines, to the precision thinning of fruit and the pulling of leaves for improved circulation, Fred Favero crafts the entire production of Favero Vineyards wines. The result of this exacting vineyard management and careful handling of fruit is wine of extraordinary complexity, power, and finesse. In true partnership, Ginger brings her talent for design and marketing to the Favero family winery and vineyards. She developed the winery's haut couture black and gold label, so elegantly understated, it whispers class and good taste. Fred and Ginger invite you to visit Favero Vineyards and Winery and taste the fruits of their labor.

  Favero Estate Sangiovese
The process to make this 2000 Estate Sangiovese started at harvest with the selection of very ripe fruit. These flavors are still very pronounced in the bottle. In addition, aromas of rose petals, coffee, cedar and dark chocolate are combined with this big, luscious fruit, spice, and balanced oak. Food pairings range from Charcuterie and mature cheese plates, gourmet pizzas, beef, seasoned pork, and zest sauces. This is not a light wine by any means; 3-5 years of aging is recommended. All grapes were estate grown and no commercial pesticides used during growing season.
Favero Monte di Sassi Estate Red Table Wine
The 2002 Monte di Sassi is the latest and greatest Supertuscan -styled wine hand crafted by Favero. Rich aromas of blueberry, violet pastille, cocoa and fresh roasted coffee beans abound. The mouthfeel is luscious and loaded with dense flavors of fresh blackberries, bing cherries, and subtle earthtones. The long dry finish works well with matured cheeses, lamb, sausage, grilled vegetables, or pastas with zesty red sauce. Balanced structure provides the wine with agability in the 3-8 year range. All grapes used to create the Monte di Sassi are estate grown.
  Moscato "Dessert Wine"
Moscato, produced in 2000. Our Moscato Del Millenio is a delicious dessert wine.
