  Avelina Nebbiolo
The 2001 Nebbiolo is another outstanding vintage of this Italian varietal. With more fruit and less tannins than the previous vintage, this wine is packed with dense textures of ripe sweet plum, jammy currant and anise flavors finishing with subtle sweet oak tones. This beautiful food wine tends to be a favored by those who enjoy Sangiovese and pairs beautifully with chocolate.
  Kahn Central Coast Syrah
An approachable fruit-forward wine that is concentrated, with rich cherry, raspberry and strawberry flavors, turning supple and picking up subtle chocolate flavors. Entirely open-top Burgundian fermentation with whole berry clusters, I then aged this wine with a relatively small amount of new French oak. The remainder was neutral French oak from our heavier, inkier Syrahs.
  Kahn Colson Canyon Syrah
The third release of our beloved Colson Canyon Syrah continues to show depth of flavor and strength of texture. Aromas of black cherry and raspberry are intermingled with strong earth tones of soil, tobacco and leather. This wine is heavy in acid and tannins making it a cellar, or at least aerating, worthy wine (also bottled in July). Big and chewy this wine is best paired with blue cheese, braised short rib or rack of lamb.
  Kahn Santa Ynez Valley Syrah
Our latest vintage of our Santa Ynez Valley Syrah is the most complex yet to date. This intensely garnet colored wine is layered with aromas of cherry, cassis, and smoked meats further enhanced by gamey flavors with hints of soil. Bearing a likeness to the Cornas style from France, we feel this wine has classical varietal character. This is a recently bottled wine (July) and therefore would benefit from aeration until the new year or it can be cellared through this decade.
  Kahn Sauvignon Blanc
Redolent of fig, peach, and herb, this highly sought after white wine tastes rich and ripe, serving up layers of fresh grapefruit and melon with country charm, all carried along brightly by tangy acidity and a long finish that is not heavy, but intense and focused.
  Sinatra Chardonnay
The newest addition to the Sinatra line, the Sinatra Chardonnay is a typical Santa Barbara County Chardonnay with the tropical fruit aromas of bananas and pineapple. The wine is well balanced with a creamy oak mouth feel and sharp acidity that helps make this an age worthy wine.
  Sinatra Merlot
Also a new addition this year, this wine is a nice companion to the Sinatra Claret. It begins with pomegranate and cherry flavors that leads into rich aromas of cola and spice and an undertone of vanilla oak.
