For many of you, the discovery of Richard Partridge wines was made with our first wines, the 1998 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon and 1998 Richard Partridge Chardonnay. Thank you for discovering us and enjoying our wines. We're very pleased to announce the September 18, 2006 release of our 2003 Richard Partridge Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 2005 Richard Partridge Chardonnay. It is the same dedication and commitment to quality that made our first wines such a success that fuels our excitement about these new vintages. Our 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon was sturdily built with a backbone from the Sacrashé Vineyards, and this wine finds its stylish character from the addition of Stanton Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Additionally, we sourced our 2005 Chardonnay grapes from the State Lane vineyards, and we know you will be pleased with the exemplary quality of the wine that these grapes produced.

A delicate golden color, floral and tropical flavors, and a glint of minerality make this Chardonnay complex and inviting, yet elegant and refined. Aromas of honeysuckle, spiced pear, lechee, lemon meringue, and orange blossoms fill the nose. Pineapple, apricot, and honeydew melon flavors surround a core of lemon zest and green apple. A stylistic vein of minerality and spice flutter through the back of the palate rounding out this well balanced Chardonnay.

Cabernet SauvignonCabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
The 2003 Vintage is composed of two vineyards--Stanton and Sacrashe. The fun begins in spending time tasting thru the aging process to determine how these vineyards complement each other.
Inky, magenta color. Dark, rich, young and fairly muscular, this wine is loaded with cinnamon, spice and black cherry fruits. Upon tasting, these aromas become dominant flavors and combine with cherry cola and black cherry to bring out the pedigree of this wine. Powerful ripe tannins and hints of sweet oak add to the age worthiness of this wine.
