  L'Aventure Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
An inky, dark purple color presages deep aromas of cassis, anise, and cedar. This Cabernet is truly unique, with our west side terroir apparent both in the nose, and on the palate. Intense dark berry and licorice flavors are joined in the finish by cherry and spice. Bring on the leg of lamb, or roast duck!
  L'Aventure Estate Cote a Cote
Grenache typicity dominates the color, aroma, and palate of this classic blend (60% Grenache, 40% Syrah). Uplifting red friut aromas give way to explosive cherry, and strawberry fruit in the mouth, where Grenache speaks out! The long, tight finish is flashy, and seductive. This is a wine of great breed, that will age comfortably for 7-10 years.
  L'Aventure Estate CuvĂ©e
With a black center stretching accross the glass, Estate Cuvee is again Stephan's most complex wine from the vintage. Aromas of wild blackberries, leather, and red fruit form a brilliant counterpoint, with lilac, acacia, and anise sounding high notes. Rich, dense, black cherry, licorice, and currant flavors dominate, around a tight mineral and graphite core, lending grip and grace to the mouth.Classic, elegant, and long, with exceptional balance, this wine lingers on the palate for minutes. An excellent wine for hard, aged cheese, it will also pair well with rich and hearty game dishes.Enjoyed by itself, it becomes a case of "art for arts sake!"
  L'Aventure Estate Syrah
Ruby and garnett hues play accross the glass, suggesting the complex play of violets, viande, and woodsy aromas. Rich, concentrated, tight blueberry/ blackberry flavors go on and on, ending in a peppery bang! This estate produced Syrah is elegant, as has become a characteristic of the vintage, as the wines continue maturation. You may eat this wine by itself!
  L'Aventure Optimus
A ruby and garnet colored wine, the 2003 Optimus is unique among it's kind for carrying the highest percentage of Syrah to date. At 64% Syrah, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Petit Verdot, the Optimus 2003 is an exuberant wine, with aromas of violet, wildflowers, and a very high -tone floral note of acacia, or muted honeysucle. These mingle with a hint of leather and earth, the latter found also among a fruit basket of raspberry, blueberry, and fresh plums, in a peppery finish on the palate. This is a wine for many and diverse dishes. Excellent with grilled meats and rich risotti, don't overlook grilled shellfish with this wine!
  L'Aventure Roussanne
Notes of honey, acacia, and white peaches pour from this medium straw colored wine. Elegant mineral flavors rise in counterpoint to those of fresh peach and white fruit, and perfect acidity endows the wine with a pristine freshness.
  L'Aventure Syrah
Ruby center, raspberry edge. Soft aromas of raspberry, tea leaf, peppery leather, and spice make this the most elegant and classic L'Aventure syrah to date. Delicate berry and violet flavors are buyed by licorice and pepper on the palate. This wine will be a welcomed foil to grilled veggies and fish, as well as to barbecued chichen. It's heaven with mushroom risotto!
  L'Aventure Zinfandel
Full ruby in color, macerated cherries, wild berries, and bramble characterize the aroma. Big, round, soft tannins support cedar and tobacco notes in the mouth. "A classic, red wine, with a Zinfandel finish" remarks Stephan.
