Noble Oaks Vineyard & Winery

Noble Oaks Vineyard & Winery Noble Oaks Vineyard & Winery produces estate bottled Malbec, a Bordeaux variety, as well as Syrah, a Rhone variety grown by the Topa Topa Vineyard in the Ojai Valley. All Noble Oaks wines are aged for a minimum of one year in new American oak barrels followed by bottle aging. The 2002 Noble Oaks Malbec was released in the spring of 2005. The 2003 Noble Oaks Malbec and Syrah were bottled in January 2005 and await release. The 2004 Noble Oaks Malbec and Syrah are aging in new American oak barrels. With the purchase of 2004 harvest Cabernet Franc from the old Spanish Land Grant, Rancho Sisquoc, Noble Oaks added another Bordeaux varietal to it's red line, and a chance offering of Bien Nacido Vineyard Chardonnay grapes resulted in the forst Noble Oaks white. The non-typical; crisp Chardonnay was bottled in April 2005.
