  47-Ten Red
A Wine with Altitude! Our winemaker’s blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, and occasionally a touch of Chardonnay, 47-Ten Red is named for the elevation of our vineyard (4,710 feet). A medium-bodied, approachable wine with good texture and subtle tannins, this wine has aromas of cherry, clove, blackberry jam and cola. The palate provides a hint of each of the varietals with clove, cherry, tobacco, red fruit and a touch of vanilla and baking spices on the soft finish.
  47-Ten Rose
Made from 100% Merlot, the 2013 47-Ten Rosé spent just five hours on its skins to achieve this striking color. Created in a traditional dry style, this food-friendly wine bursts with candied strawberry and banana on the nose, accompanied by hints of rose water and cherry. Cherries & cream, key lime, hints of pink grapefruit and bright, full acidity all lead to a crisp, refreshing finish that pairs perfectly with a warm, sunny day and a comfortable chair!
  47-Ten White
A fresh and bright blend of Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay named after the elevation of our vineyard (4,710 feet), the 47-Ten White has abundant aromas of grapefruit, honeysuckle and lime, with a touch of pear and plantain. Refreshing flavors of grapefruit and kiwi balanced with the perfect amount of crisp acidity and a nice, full finish makes this the perfect white wine for every occasion. Drink now and enjoy!
  Cabernet Franc
One of the original grapes planted in the vineyard in 1991, Cabernet Franc was initially used as a blending grape added to our Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, until 2005 when we chose to let this grape shine on its own. Aging for 11 months in American and French oak creates a wine with concentrated red fruit, innuendos of violet and lavender encompassing a medium body and soft mouthfeel.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
Comprised of fruit planted in 1991 in our Riverside Vineyard and additional vines planted in 2001 in our Cliffside Vineyard, our signature and most awarded wine shows the tremendous differentiation between the two sites, even though they are separated by less than 100 yards. Aging for 22-24 months in French and American oak leads to a dark and concentrated wine enhanced by aromas of black cherry and mocha and a palate rich with cocoa, coffee and tobacco intertwined with firm tannins all leading to full finish.
The mainstay of our white line, Chardonnay, was planted from two clones in 1991 in our original vineyard. Created in our traditionally inspired low-intervention winemaking style and fermented in stainless steel barrels with oak staves for nine months creates a wine with full body, bright acidity and the dominant flavors of pear, grapefruit and honey.
Having the distinction of being one of the first varietals planted in our Riverside vineyard in 1991, the majority of these vines are planted in a sandy soil while the remaining vines were planted in a section of the vineyard with an uplift in the cobbles to sub-surface levels, resulting in two distinct Merlots from the same clone in the same age planting. Light and bright, our Merlot delights with flavors and aromas of cherry, cedar, spice and hints of eucalyptus.
  Petit Verdot
It is only through a stroke of luck that Petit Verdot is part of the CWC family. As part of our original planting in 1991, two blocks of Merlot were planted and it was quickly obvious that one of the blocks was not Merlot. Used as a source for blending until 2002; it was not until undergoing genetic fingerprinting that we discovered that the vines were actually Petit Verdot. Concentrated, inky and bursting with spice, 22-24 months in oak creates a wine rife with pepper, black cherries, violets and a long, smooth and memorable finish.
  Proprietor's Reserve Port
Aged three years in neutral barrels, our Port delights with aromas of black cherry and prune, which lead to intense flavors of coffee, tobacco and fig, underscored by cherry and bittersweet chocolate. A marriage of strength and harmony, this Port should age very well.
