Winemaker Mike Neuffer has crafted a wine that’s dense, heady and impressive for its layers of black cherry, sweet spice and peppery sage flavors, surprisingly dense and firm for a blend comprising 74 Merlot.74% Merlot, 15% Cab Franc, 11% Cab Sauvignon

Dark and rich, this complex, intense wine offers an expressive nose that suggests dark cherry cordials with a hint of spicy oak complemented by delicate tobacco notes. Deeply textured and concentrated, the dark fruit is explosive on the palate. Well-balanced with fine tannic structure, the finish is long and graceful. This is a very cellar worthy wine and with ageing will continue to develop and evolve.
