Heymann Winery

Heymann Winery Heymann Whinery evolved from a home winemaking hobby to a dream to open a home winemaking supply store, a pending retirement, and then deciding to sell our own wines – thus Heymann Whinery started production in June 2004 with our flagship Cranberry wine that has proven to be very popular with both wine and non-wine drinkers. The fruit wine collection, along with Cranberry, includes Blackberry, Raspberry and Apricot. All our fruit comes from Washington – Grayland, Burlington, and Yakima. The grape collection includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Concord, Chardonnay, and Riesling. All the grapes are from Prosser in the lower Yakima Valley produced in both the Yakima and Red Mountain appellations. Being a small winery with total production less than 500 cases a year at this time gives us flexibility to produce small batches of several different varieties. Yes, the “h” is meant to be in “whinery” on our label. Started as a joke, but has become our signature. The Heymann Whinery Etc. tasting room/gift shop features wine related gifts as well as a chance to taste the wines – and to visit Historic Downtown Centralia and the many antique shops. Hours: Mon-Fri 11am - 6pm; Sat 10am-6pm; Sun 12noon-6pm
