Montgomery Underground Winery is owned and operated by Thomas and Della Montgomery. We obtained part of the family farm where Tom built an underground home for his family. Expanding upon a 21year hobby of Tom’s, we decided to go into the wine business and turn our den into the sales/tasting room, and built an extra room for processing the wine. (It too is underground). As unique as our home is, so is our wine. We carry a full line of fruit wines, as well as many grape varieties. We started our vineyard three years ago. We’ll be making additions each year until our 6 acre field is complete. Our future plans are to plant berries and fruit trees. We enjoy our little piece of the world and invite you to share it with us. Hours: We plan to open October 17, 2003. Our hours are: Friday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00pm.

Directions
Nestled in the rolling hills of beautiful Pennsylvania, our winery is located approximately 4 and half miles northwest of a little town called Elderton. On the map Elderton is between Kittanning and Indiana, along route 422. Take route 210 north to Gastown. Make a left at the second church, go 1 and ¾ miles at the sharp right turn go straight onto Cribb’s Road. Stay parallel with pasture fence. At the 'Y' keep right on Montgomery Lane. Travel up the hill and around the turn, keep to the right.

Black Raspberry
Our Black Raspberry wine was made from domestic and wild raspberries. Those wild raspberries really give the flavor a boost!
