Amelia Bleu is a boutique winery producing estate-grown wines. It is owned and operated by local Sammamish couple, Doug and Heather Roberts. When the economy was taking a dive in late 2008, they looked for opportunities to re-invest. Although they both had spent their careers in the high-tech industry, they took a leap of faith and purchased a vineyard.
Founded in 2009, Amelia Bleu was created with family in mind. Ashlyn’s Vineyard, located in Chelan, Washington and named after their oldest daughter, is a 10-acre vineyard of which 6-acres are planted with Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. The company name and wine label, Amelia Bleu, is named after their youngest daughter.
