Since 1922, a barn has stood at the mountain base south of Calistoga on the East side of Silverado Trail. Time weary, though beautiful, this barn was in dire need of repair. A decision was made in 2011 to restore and preserve this historic structure. Howard Backen of Backen Gilliam and Kroeger, has lead the charge in maintaining historical accuracy, while creating an impressive tasting room to complement the surrounding natural beauty of the property. The results have yielded a truly unique, authentic and rustic venue.
