For over 40 years, the Watts family has been growing grapes in Lodi, providing premium fruit for numerous award winning wineries throughout California. In 1999, the Watts family decided to take these incredible grapes and use their wine making skills. Today, Watts Winery is making incredible wines, due largely to the diligent care of our estate vineyards, the territory from where the grapes are grown and our artisan wine making practices. Our wines express the commitment to quality and guide us in producing world-class wines with balance, texture and personality. The aromas, flavors, and varietal styles reflect how and where the wines were made.

Directions
From Bay Area, take 580 to 205 North, to I-5 North, take Hwy 4 to 99 North in Stockton, take Waterloo Exit (Hwy 88 East), proceed ~14 miles into Lockeford, turn left on Locke Road, 1/2 mile on left is the Vino Piazza. From Napa, take Hwy. 12 East, into Lodi where it turns into Kettleman Lane. Continue on Kettleman to Hwy 88, turn left. Proceed ~4 miles into Lockeford, turn left on Locke Road, 1/2 mile on the left is the Vino Piazza. From Sacramento, take I-99 South to Peltier Road East, turn right on Elliott Road and proceed ~2.5 miles into Lockeford, at Hwy. 88. Turn right on 88 and right on Locke Road. 1/2 mile on the left is the Vino Piazza.

2002 Dos Amores
A spectacular blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc. The Dos Amores comes from our finest low yielding premium vineyard. A delicious and attractive claret offers impressive saturated ruby color and dark berries, toasty oak, spice and chocolate aromas. Rich and beautifully textured with layers of black currants, dark cherries, cocoa and vanilla spice with hints of mint. With excellent purity and sweet tannins enjoy this over the next five years.

2002 Syrah
This gorgeous new Syrah is a brand new exciting release from our estate grown single vineyard, Los Robles Vineyard. This premium plot of Syrah yields ultra intense fruit with great complexity and concentration. We are very excited about this first release with a great reason and we're convinced you will be too.With a pretty bouquet of plums, violets and nice asian spice, the flavors reveal super ripe dark plum, bing cherry and dark cocoa framed by nice vanilla and spice. This velvety-textured, rich, full bodied, gorgeously opulent Syrah is a top class effort from the Lodi region. Drink over the next 3-5 years.

2003 Cabernet Rosado
Our new and exciting release is delightful. This lovely rosé is composed entirely of one hundred percent Cabernet. With flavors of rich ripe strawberry, red raspberry and zesty cranberry this wine is a terrific alternative on a warm summer day. Accented by pronounced bright acidity and a hint of spice. Serve this beauty well chilled with smoked salmon and shellfish.

2003 Chardonnay Dijon Reserve
Starting with a beautiful bouquet of floral, pear and tropical notes, this lovely Chardonnay offers a great creamy texture, rich tropical fruit and superb bright acidity to balance it out. With flavors of Fuji apple, pear, minerals and vanilla spice, this Chardonnay is sure to please. Serve with an array of dishes such as grilled fish, shellfish and chicken.

Old Vine Zinfandel
Our new release 2002 Zinfandel truly showcases the superb vineyards outstanding quality of fruit the Lodi region has to offer. This exciting estate grown single vineyard is our proudest production to date. The Iris Vineyard is a low yield vineyard that produces premium fruit. The vines lie in Hanford Sandy loam deposited eons ago by the Mokelumne River. The 2002 Zinfandel shows intense ripe concentrated jammy raspberry to blackberry fruits complimented by cocoa flavors. The barrel aging imparts a touch a lavender with accents of vanilla. Enjoy with a sizzling steak tonight!
