Heimhof Winery

Opened in 1992, Heimhof Winery is
Leavenworth County's first licensed winery,
and the oldest operating winery in the State
of Kansas. Our unique A-frame cellar and
Gift Shop sits just off a portion of the old
Santa Fe Trail. At the road's edge stands a
beautiful sweetwater well encased in stone
and surrounded by a natural rock wall. A pavilion and barbecue grill are available
for picnics, parties, weddings, receptions
and other events, while our vine-covered
gazebo affords another spot for sipping
wine in a tranquil, pastoral setting. Live
music available for special occasions. Deep
sky Astronomy Sessions to top off the
evening, weather permitting.
