LATE HARVEST RIESLING - Santa Ynez Valley Wine Details

Description: Our 2001 Late Harvest Riesling wine enchants the nose with ripe apricot, peach and honey. The apricot and honey notes continue into the flavor spectrum, with nuances of citrus and mango unfolding across a rich, concentrated palate. A firm acid profile balances the wine’s sweetness, yielding a deep, lingering finish.

Varietal Definition
On the sweeter end of the spectrum, some of the best dessert wines should give thanks to the Riesling varietal. Riesling is known for its complementary nature of combining balanced acidity with sugar. Rieslings are made dry to sweet, but it is the sweet style Riesling that brought about its popularity in the United States.
