Simply Red is made especially for those who find traditional dry wines too astringent, yet desire less sweetness than found in traditional sweet wines. It is fermented from a blend of carefully selected grapes picked at the peak of their flavor, pressed and slowly fermented at cool temperatures to yield a light, Rhone style wine. It has light tannins and lots of raspberry, cherry and black currant fruit in the nose, taste and finish. The wine is finished semi-dry to balance the flavors, acids and tannins in the fruit. Simply Red was crafted to go with typical American foods like steaks, chops and even hamburgers!
