This Syrah is 100% syrah from the Destiny Ridge Vineyard, the same as the 2002 syrah. It has a defining bouquet with dark berries, oak, leather, licorice and tobacco. As it's bouquet invites you, it follows thru with the taste of dark berries, oak, leather and tobacco with bolder tannins filling the mouth. It is delicious with steak, lamb, spicy fish dishes and pork.
