Anticipation is our first sparkling wine. We use several of our still wines as the cuvee for these Champaign style sparkling wines. Two separate styles of these sparklers are produced at Smoky Hill. The first is a sweet variety similar to, but slightly drier than an Asti Spumante. The second style is a very dry brut style Champaign similar to that produced in the Champaign region of France. We think you will find both to be very good wines for those special occasions calling for a sparkling wine.
