The Chambourcin grape originates from the step hill side vineyards of France's Northern Rhone Valley. This grape produces a soft, medium bodied dry red wine with silky tannins. This wine has complex aromas and flavors of black cherries, tobacco, and spices. A great complement to any beef, pork or pasta dish. INTERNATIONAL SILVER MEDAL WINNER

Chambourcin:
A french-american hybrid used to make red wines with fruity flavors and some herbaceousness. Grown in the cooler regions of Eastern U.S. and Canada. Decreasing acreages also found in Europe; due to stringent European Union rules these varieties cannot be blended with traditional varieties.
