Pinot Gris

Reserve Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $15.00 per bottle

Description: A very warm growing season gave us rich, concentrated fruit. Light straw in color, this vintage offers crisp and clean flavors with hints of citrus (grapefruit & tangerine) but gives way to juicy green apple and pear. The slight floral minerality comes from the unique volcanic soil in which the grapes were grown. A well balanced with a solid acid backbone pairs well with a wide range of foods from spicy Thai to salads and pasta.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
